Environmental sustainability is at the heart of our operations, and our commitment to accelerating the way to a low carbon future is two-fold:
Reducing our carbon footprint
We treat the climate crisis as a Board level governance matter and we are committed to going beyond compliance and leading the way on addressing the direct and indirect greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emissions associated with our operations, to minimise the impact both on our business and society as a whole.
Accelerating the circular economy
The auction industry plays an important role in accelerating the growth of a resource efficient circular economy, with online auctions facilitating the market for second-hand goods. Our online auction marketplaces ensure that millions of items are resold for re-use or repurpose each year, extending their lifespans and value within the economy and preventing waste.

Science Based Targets
ATG is delighted to announce the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) has approved it’s near-term science-based emissions reduction target as published on its website. ATG has committed to reduce scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2021 base year, and to measure and reduce its scope 3 emissions.
