ATG consolidates North America leadership team

16/06/2023

Two years following the agreement by ATG to acquire LiveAuctioneers, Phil Michaelson, CEO of LiveAuctioneers, has decided to step down from his role in order to spend more time with his young family and before pursuing other opportunities.  As a result, ATG is merging the commercial leadership of our North American A&A and I&C divisions, with both commercial teams now reporting to Jeremy Stewart, formerly President of ATG I&C.

This organisational change aligns with our platform strategy, which already has our technology, product, marketing, finance, and people functions reporting into a single executive. This reorganisation is also a key part of our drive to expand operational leverage by centralising costs and improving scalability. Phil will be with ATG until the end of June to ensure a smooth transition.

John-Paul Savant, CEO of ATG said:

“Phil has led LiveAuctioneers through a period of growth and development that has helped to build the leading marketplace for curated online auctions in art, antiques, and collectibles in North America. We would like to thank Phil for his leadership of LiveAuctioneers and we wish him and his family all the best in the future.”
