Auction Technology Group plc (LON:ATG) is pleased to announce that it has won the title of Tech Business of the Year at the 2022 plc awards. ATG was recognised for its commercial and financial success, as well as its outstanding long-term potential as a technology business.

The plc awards celebrate the UK’s best-performing firms listed on the London Stock Exchange, recognising companies listed on the Main Market for their success and achievements. The Tech Business of the Year award acknowledges the emergence of tech companies that are driving economic growth and reshaping the way people communicate, consume information, shop, socialise, and work.

John-Paul Savant, CEO of ATG, commented:

“We are delighted to be named Tech Business of the Year. Winning this award is testament to the hard work that the whole ATG team has put in to harness the opportunity for our digital marketplace technology to lead the shift of the auction industry from offline to online. I am extremely proud to work alongside such a talented and dedicated group of people.

“We are looking forward to building on the milestones of the last year in the years ahead, as we continue to transform the way people buy at auction, and unlock the value in the circular economy. The future is bright for ATG – we are well placed to capture the growth opportunities ahead while delivering value to auctioneers and bidders around the world.”
